I recently got a request to play a new band called Emil and Friends and after listening to their songs I couldn’t resist. Their music sounds current and fresh while maintaining a great retro vibe. Check out their MySpace page www.myspace.com/emilandfriends and read their fun list of influences. I’ll be podcasting their songs over the next week.
Finished version of the song.

I will publish songs as they’re completed. In the meantime, please feel free to lounge in the Milk Bar. Enjoy the half-priced synthemesc and vellocet and viddy the old songs whenever the urge strikes.
Fame kills. Avoid fame and live forever! Some odd tuning and retro organ make this an interesting song. No vocals yet.

Nancy Pelosi’s unrepentant and insatiable appetite for torture could not be quenched by human suffering alone.
Wet pink nose.

I filmed it, of course. I was hoping to film a tornado but the storm wimped out after a promising start.
The first time I died, I went to a secret island. The second time I died, I couldn’t find it at all.
A simple song of spring. Better than nuttin’ I guess.
Sometimes you imagine lying on your back in a tall-grass prairie, letting the cold hard rain of a great massive thundercloud pour down upon your body until it’s as if you no longer exist, and you become one with the raindrops and the sky.
Of course you’d never actually do such a stupid thing because you’d die of pneumonia or get struck by lightning for sure, but it’s nice to imagine for a while…on a stormy day in April.
This is just the backing track of a new song I’m working on.
This song is good for beautiful nature sequences and travel scenes. It’s also good for scenes of a women slowly adding butter to a cob of corn, taking a big bite and then smiling with a bunch corn stuck in her teeth.
Don’t backsas me.
